Beverage Truck Applications
Beverage trucks and trailers have unique properties that make them advantageous for many other industries and applications.
The drop frame configuration and multiple access points make beverage trucks ideal for easy access to cargo and quick loading and unloading.
Listed and pictured below are a few of the industries and applications that Buck's Trucks has provided beverage trucks and trailers to over the years:
Propane Gas
Beverage trucks and trailers have long been associated with the propane industry for delivery of five-gallon propane tanks. This particular trailer features a 52" wide bay for a wider palette (48"). It was delivered to the Yankee Gas Company in Massachuesetts.
Fire Rescue
Fire Departments and Rescue Squads have also found effective use of the beverage truck as rescue vehicles. For a fraction of the cost of new, we can refurbish and upfit a beverage truck or trailer with a variety of equipment and options.
Hazardous Materials
Hazardous Material Teams enjoy all the benefits of a beverage truck or trailer that has been completely loaded with gear that is easily accessible.
Shelving options included fixed, adjustable, slide out, and slide out/tilt down.
This Washington County Haz-Mat Team Unit was called to the site of the crash of United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001 in southeastern PA.
Industrial
Other industries also benefit from the beverage truck design, including this one from a company that installs air conditioning systems into residential and commercial buildings. The A/C units load into the beverage bays and the insulation is strapped onto the roof.
Vending
Many vending operations use beverage trucks to deliver drinks and snacks. The trucks are large enough to hold a significant amount of product, yet small enough that any driver can maneuver them successfully.
This truck was delivered to a vending customer in the state of Washington.
Food Services
Food distribution companies utilize beverage trucks and trailers for their operations. Whether loading and unloading by hand or with a forklift, the beverage design still gives this truck an advantage over conventional rear loading trucks.
High School Marching Band

Marching bands and drum corps do a great deal of traveling each year to football games and/or marching contests. Beverage trucks provide time saving efficiencies for loading and unloading instruments, uniforms and equipment. This GMC Topkick 12 bay truck was delivered to a marching band in central Florida.
Other Applications:
